As a newborn photographer my goal is to capture those beautiful, fleeting details of your baby's first moments, and as a mom myself I remember those stressful early weeks after bringing baby home as I juggled normal household chores and caring for older siblings on limited sleep while recovering from major surgery. It was hard! Therefore, I have designed my newborn sessions to take place in either the comfort of your own home or in my cozy home studio so that you can have a relaxing experience as I capture beautiful images of your precious new baby.
The optimal time for a newborn session is 7-14 days following the birth. It is best to schedule as soon as possible using your baby's due date as I only take a small number of these bookings each month to ensure my availability no matter when your baby decides to arrive. Sessions are offered on a first come, first served basis with a signed contract and deposit required to secure your spot.
Posed or Lifestyle?
Posed sessions (as shown above) typically take place during the baby’s first two weeks of life while they are still sleepy and able to pose in those sweet curled up positions with their hands gently resting under their head. These images of your precious newborn are captured on blankets or inside of props- all of which will be provided.
Lifestyle photography (as shown below) is a more candid approach to capturing your baby's first moments. The baby is photographed in natural settings, usually alongside parents and siblings, and the poses are unaided. Props are kept to a minimum and your home serves as the backdrop.

FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Stuttgart, Germany and available for sessions throughout Europe. Prices reflect travel to destinations in the greater Stuttgart region including the Böblingen, Esslingen, and Ludwigsburg districts. Additional fees will be applied for sessions beyond these areas.
How far in advance do I need to reserve a session?
As I only offer a limited number of newborn sessions each month to ensure my availability no matter when your baby decides to arrive, it is best to reserve your session at least 6-8 weeks in advance of your due date. I am occasionally able to squeeze in a last minute session so don't hesitate to send a message if you are outside of that range.
What can I expect for in-home lifestyle sessions?
With every in-home newborn session I aim to make it a relaxing, fun experience as we capture beautiful baby details alongside your family.
On the day of your session I will arrive a few minutes early to find the coziest areas to use in your home. This is generally the master bedroom or nursey, as well as near any large windows that filter in soft morning light.
I have years of experience of photographing families in all kinds of homes including base housing, small apartments, and houses older than some countries. You absolutely do not need a Pinterest perfect space to capture beautiful photos!
What can I expect for posed studio sessions?
Posed newborn sessions take place in my home studio in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. If parent and/or sibling photos are desired they will be taken first and captured against a beautiful neutral-colored backdrop. You can then relax on the couch with a coffee or tea in hand and watch as I photograph your newest addition using wraps, baskets, bowls, and accessories- all of which are provided from my extensive newborn collection.
Prior to your session you will be sent a questionnaire where you can inform me of any specific colors or setups you would like to use.
How and when will we get our photos?
Your proofing gallery will be sent within 7 days following your session. After selecting your favorites they will be retouched and professionally edited to perfection within 14 days.
If you would like your photos delivered earlier an additional rush editing fee of €75 will apply.
To what extent will my images be edited?
All images will be edited in a vibrant, true-to-color style as shown throughout my portfolio.
Skin retouching is provided for any unwanted scratches, blemishes, or newborn redness, and distractions from the background such as people or objects will be removed.
Extensive editing is available upon request and for an additional fee.
Can I purchase additional images after my session?
Extra images beyond those included in your package can be purchased for €15 each or 10 for €125.
